### What this allows you to do

Get oriented in BuildOS and understand how to navigate the core areas of the platform before starting to build instructions.

### Key Areas of the Interface

BuildOS is organized around a few primary areas that you’ll use throughout your workflow:

* **Dashboard** – View and manage your projects
* **Project Workspace** – Where CAD, structure, and instructions live
* **Model View** – Used to structure and organize the assembly
* **Instruction View** – Used to author step-by-step work instructions
* **Part Tree & BOM** – Used to navigate and manage components
* **Viewer Controls** – Rotate, pan, hide, and isolate geometry

### Typical User Workflow

Most users follow this general flow when working in BuildOS:

1. Create a new project and import CAD
2. Navigate and explore the model
3. Structure the build in Model View
4. Author steps in Instruction View
5. Share instructions with operators
