# Operator Viewer

This will cover the basics of the Operator Viewer

## What is the Operator Viewer?

The Operator Viewer is a read-only version of the [Instructions View](/how-to-be-successful-in-buildos/concepts/model-and-instructions.md#instructions-view) accessible to both operator users and engineers. The Operator Viewer is specifically designed for operators assembling parts on the shop floor, but engineers can access Operator Viewer to preview how instructions will look for operators.

At the standard level, the Operator Viewer displays approved work instructions in an animated step-by-step guide for clear, visual guidance to follow during assembly.

Additionally, [Operator+](/operator-guide/operator+.md) users have access to additional features such as [traceability](/operator-guide/operator+/traceability.md), [feedback](/operator-guide/operator+/operator-input.md), and more.
