Required/Recorded data allows an engineer to set a range of acceptable values for a given step. On the operator's side, the data they are being asked to input will be shown as "recorded data". When an Operator+ user reaches a step requiring data entry, they’ll be prompted to enter the correct values. They will not be able to complete the step until all required fields are filled out satisfactorily. If a value is out of the acceptable range, the system will prompt the operator to log a non-conformance. This will be displayed in the runs dashboard. ## Inputting Data In order to add a required data field, an engineer should navigate to the requirements tab and add a standard note. They will then be allowed to choose if they want to add required data.

An Operator will be able to input the measurements that are required when they reach the step that Recorded Data is needed for. If the recorded data is outside of the required range, a non-conformance is logged. The operator cannot proceed through an assembly with a non-conforming value.
