# Incomplete Runs

This will cover what happens when runs are left unfinished

## What is an Incomplete Run?

Operator+ does not require users to continuously complete a run after it has begun. Users have the option to pause and resume runs without losing information in the process.

## Navigating Away from a Run

If you're partially through a run but want to finish it later, Operator+ will retain accurate timing data, operator feedback, and step progress regardless of how you leave the run. This allows users to seamlessly resume runs later.

## Resume a Run

Resuming an unfinished run works much like starting a new one. Click the desired work instruction to open the traceability modal, navigate to the Resume tab, and select the run you want to continue. You may also resume a run from an active session. Clicking on the Start New Run tab at the top of the viewer will reveal the same traceability modal.
